Custom Home Builders in Nepean, ON

Among custom home builders in Ontario, the 12 on the Nepean page work from a community within the City of Ottawa. Most of them build across the whole city, not a single district, and a few reach to Kanata, Greely, North Gower and Clearview. Two builders are based in Greely and one in North Gower, so the page also covers those two smaller towns.

The local trade leans toward design-build. Terzetto Homes, Lagois Design-Build-Renovate, Novera Homes and Olistin Homes Ltd. each bring design and construction under one roof. Terzetto Homes is a design-build general contractor whose work is mostly remodeling: kitchens, bathrooms, basements including secondary dwelling units, whole-home remodels and home additions. It also builds custom homes designed from the ground up. Olistin Homes Ltd. serves Ottawa and the surrounding area and specializes in kitchen renovations.

Lagois Design-Build-Renovate has worked from North Gower since 1984. It takes on major renovations, additions and custom homes across Ottawa and the surrounding area, does its design in-house, and includes energy-efficient and Net Zero builds in its work. One team handles design, selections, permits, budgeting and construction, with engineering, drawings and inspections managed for the client. It holds a 5.0 rating from 48 reviews.

At the upper end of the market, Novera Homes is a high-end custom home builder that works with award-winning architects and interior designers and takes on a handful of projects each year. It starts with site plan applications and architectural drawings and carries through to construction. On a heritage-sensitive Rockcliffe project it consulted the residents' association heritage committee. Falsetto Homes Inc. builds upscale homes in Ottawa, from semi-detached to single-family, and has recent houses in Westboro. Both have short review histories: Novera Homes has 1 review at 5.0, and Falsetto Homes Inc. has 3.8 from 10.
