Davidson Log & Timber Artisans Inc.

Davidson Log & Timber Artisans handcrafts log homes and timber frames from its log yard in Washago, in the Muskoka region of Central Ontario. The company custom designs each house, builds it outdoors at the yard, then reassembles it on the client's own property once finished. Styles include Norwegian and Pioneer dovetail, Scandinavian scribe, piece-en-piece and timber frame roof systems, cut mostly from Ontario white pine. Many of the homes end up in cottage country across Muskoka, Haliburton, the Kawarthas and Peterborough, and a customer review describes a dream cottage designed and built by the firm. It works with the client and their contractor from concept to completion, and it counts among the oldest handcrafted log home makers in Ontario. Rated 5.0 from one Google review.
