Bannon Log Homes & Timberframes‎

Bannon Log Homes & Timberframes builds hand-crafted log homes and timber frame structures from Perth South, with Dan Bannon working in Ontario since 1988. Homes are custom built to the client's specifications, and several floor plans are available to view. The shop prepares the timbers, which run from 8 by 12 inches to 12 by 12 inches and up to 30 feet, and the walls are closed in with stress-skin panels or conventional framing. Each log gets insulation packed into its lateral groove for an energy-efficient seal. Styles include traditional log cabins, square log homes and timber frame houses, plus commercial work and timber and log details added to standard frame homes, such as entrance porticos.
