About Country Contracting and Construction
Country Contracting and Construction is a family-owned Minden business founded by Brett Hicks, a Haliburton native, serving Haliburton County, Minden, Dorset and Carnarvon. It provides custom home building, renovations and commercial projects, alongside steel roofing, siding, decks, lot clearing, excavating, demolition and septic installation. Custom cabins are on its service menu. It offers free quotes and promises on-time completion. Rated 4.8 from 20 Google reviews, 18 of them five stars. Hours are posted. The mix of site work and building under one roof suits rural lots that need clearing, excavating or septic work before construction can begin. Ask whether a single contract can cover both lot preparation and the build, and which of the listed services it handles with its own crews.
